ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE
In order to enroll at Honey Creek, students must reside in the Washtenaw Intermediate School District Area.

All enrolled students have the first right of return for the subsequent or upcoming academic year. Siblings of currently enrolled Honey Creek students have priority for admission after returning students. New students shall be considered for admission to Honey Creek on a first come, first served basis, unless there are more applications for enrollment than there are spaces available at which time a lottery will be conducted.

Open Enrollment Period
The application must be filled out and submitted on-line by March 1, 2023 to be eligible for the open enrollment lottery, if needed. Applications will be randomly pulled in a lottery to fill the openings at each grade level on March 8 and families will be notified of their acceptance status no later than March 15, 2023.

Applications will continue to be accepted after this date and placement will be offered, when possible, using a waitlist. Waitlisted families can inquire about their status throughout this process and also check it on the Waitlist page

Waiting Lists
Families who are not granted immediate admission through the lottery are placed on a grade-level waiting list. Openings may occur later in the process – either before or after the start of the fall semester. When openings occur, Honey Creek administrators contact waitlisted families to offer them the opportunity to enroll. If you choose not to accept an offered classroom spot, you will be removed from the waitlist and will need to reapply for future consideration, you will also need to reapply if you don't get a spot.
