Honey Creek is accepting applications for fall 2026 enrollment beginning February 9th, 2026. Enrollment will temporarily remain closed from March 6th through March 20th to conduct the annual enrollment lottery and waitlist verification process. Applications submitted on March 20th and after will be added to the existing waitlist for future enrollment.

Enrollment Events
We encourage all families to attend at least one pre-enrollment event to make sure Honey Creek is a good fit for your child. Honey Creek's mission involves offering a unique and progressive approach to K-8 education which embraces experiential learning, social justice and community involvement.

Upcoming 2026-27 Enrollment dates (for ALL grades):
- January 5th: Send Re-enrollment verification form to current families
- January 30th: Re-enrollment verification form due
- Feb 9th - March 6th: Early Open enrollment
- Feb 10th (Tuesday) @ 6:00pm: Informational meeting & tour for prospective parents
- Feb 26th (Thursday) @ 4:30pm: Informational meeting & tour for prospective parents (repeat)
- March 16th: Open enrollment lottery
- March 20th: Lottery results, emails will be send to families who applied during the Early Open enrollment period
- March 20th: Open enrollment resumes​​

Waitlisting
We anticipate waitlists for every grade level in 2026-27. Apply during the Early Open Enrollment period - prior to the enrollment lottery - greatly enhances chances of securing a seat although waitlisting should be anticipated for all grades especially those above kindergarten.​

Student Services at Honey Creek
As a public charter school, Honey Creek offers comprehensive special services to all qualified students. Due to acute staffing shortages across the state and region in the areas of school psychology, special education, social work, speech pathology and occupation therapy, we encourage all parents to carefully weigh their child's needs against the resources of all potential providers to ensure the best possible outcomes.
